The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM), also known as the Cultural Mission of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, is the spearhead organisation sent by the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education. The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission was formed, largely in part, to manage and streamline the King Abdullah Scholarship Program and other scholarship programs issued from the Kingdom’s various ministries, universities and organisations. SACM moved its Asia-Pacific offices to Canberra, Australia in 2004. Since then SACM has grown exponentially and is growing to meet the demands of the Saudi scholarship students, and to ensure their pathways from start to finish is as smooth as possible. Furthermore, SACM is geared towards promoting the growth of relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Commonwealth of Australia on the academic, cultural, scientific and technological level.
